STYLO Fashion GP will return for the 4th consecutive year to boost the upcoming 13th Petronas Malaysia F1 GP with an 8-day festival covering 4 major locations within the capital city. It will once again be presented by Mercedes-Benz but will welcome several new partners such as Sepang International Circuit; the Tourism Ministry and the Ford Models Supermodel of the World.

The 2011 theme ‘Fashion Theatre’ will see STYLO fusing fashion with famous musicals against the F1 backdrop to drive social excitement in the run-up to the Sepang race.

It includes the premier of Enfiniti Productions’ “West End Boys”; the International Shoe Festival’s opening gala, the “Glass Slipper Ball”; and the much-awaited finale of the Ford Models Supermodel of the World 2011 Search which will serve as the opening act for Korean superstar, RAIN at the F1 concert.

Over 100 Malaysian fashion and accessories designers will be presenting their creations throughout the festival.

Also making their Malaysian debut is international fashion brand F&F, a major sponsor of this year’s London Fashion Week as well as London Fashion Week’s hot emerging designer, Ara Jo. South Korean Jo is designer to Leona Lewis, Solange Knowles and eccentric megastar Lady Gaga.

An MoU signing and press conference will be organised between STYLO and its 2011 partners and sponsors. It will be hosted by the Ministry of Tourism and will be witnessed by Tourism Minister, YB Dato’ Seri Dr Ng Yen Yen.

?They production want to focus more on what is happening in Japan now. Personally, I am not comfortable talking about fashion when there are like more serious stuff; our fellow Malaysians in Japan.

Ricardo Tisci? (suara mak dara Ibu Mertua Ku P.Ramlee) Siapa itu Ricardo Tisci, lawyer, doktor, majistret?
Apa? Pereka Givenchy…….(cara sebut j-hayyy-vaonn chey.. lebih kurang lah, kalau salah pun tak kisah,kita bukan orang France or berangan-angan nak jadi orang Phe-rhan-chis pun!! Orang Putih salah pronounce nama orang Melayu kita tak kisah pun kan?)

Okay…Mak Dara mungkin tidak tahu berkenaan fesyen tetapi jika kita semua yang memang minat fesyen, sekurang-kurangnya pernahlah terdengar nama Ricardo Tisci. Apa tak penah dengar? mmmmm….
tidak mengapa! Beliau adalah pereka muda (rasanya dalam 30an lagi) yang menjadi pernah menjadi pereka untuk Antonio Berardi dan Puma sebelum menyertai Givenchy oada tahun 2005.

Tetapi ada juga rumours yang menyatakan Haider Ackermann yang adakan calon terbaik menerajui Dior kerana rekaan lebih feminin dan sesuai untuk Dior berbanding Ricardo yang terlalu gothic! Mesti ingat yang Galliano pernah menjadi pereka di Givenchy sebelum menjadi pereka Dior.

Tahniah kepada Livonia kerana dimahkotakan sebagai Juara Pilih Kasih Musim Kedua.

Untuk makluman, ini bukan kali pertama dia dimahkotakan sebagai juara, Livonia adalah Miss Borneo Beautiful.

CuteCarry bergaya (sambil tidak sempat nak betulkan jaket tu) di depan kereta yang dimenangi oleh Livonia. Ini adalah antara banyak lagi hadiah yang dia memang.Final dibuat di Senawang, Negeri Sembilan. Gigih CuteCarry pergi sampai ke sana untuk Pilih Kasih Musim kedua.

Tahniah kepada Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor sah bergelar suami kepada Dr Halina Mohd Yunos dalam satu majlis yang berlangsung di Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin di Putrajaya.

Dr Halina memakai pakaian nikah, baju kurung moden daripada butik Cosry. Wow..banyaknya details kan, tapi tetap menarik!

When is the last time Malaysia managed to go to the Top 15 or at least ‘special mentioned’ on the Miss Universe stage?
